Hey there, Chippy’s speaking! Here’s what you might’ve missed on Tuesday, 22 July 2008!
- Well, there’s a mini class gathering & the purpose for it was to watch Batman: The Dark Knight @ GV Plaza Singapura. My conclusion after watching the show ends with one word. Awesome!
- A total of 13 RidiculouslyHyperDesigners went! They are (in no order of importance): Chippy; koNica; Mr Timbrlayke; Jazzy; Snowman; Ms Comb; Countr Stryke; Paper Fish; Ah Soon; Ah Cheng ; Hong Kong; Jackie Chan; Just Laugh.
- Oh! We went to have lunch before that… Gelare’s waffles are so heavenly! Freaking tasty! I could’ve eaten a truck load full of it, haha!
- A word of caution though, if your purpose of watching the movie is for the sake of reminiscing your childhood hero, then forget about that thought and wait patiently for the DVD to arrive in stores (stop piracy / illegal downloading!).
- Kudos to the late Heath Ledger! Just so you know, he acted in the Oscar winning movie Brokeback Mountain alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and died recently due to drug overdose. His acting as Batman’s arch nemesis the Joker was superb! Gosh! I think he strikes a certain fear in the audience’s heart, not for the fact that his face is ugly but the way he portrays himself to be everyone’s worse possible nightmare.
- We went to The Cathay after the movie for the sole purpose of taking a look at Instant Karma… Then went inside NUM… Exited NUM to find a Caucasian (most probably a tourist) asking a very interesting question (ask koNica what’s it about)… passed by ButtCheeks to take a look at something but the certain something wasn’t in the shop (ask anyone above except Ms Comb about what we’re looking for).
- I’m tired already… I shall not burst the bubble for those who want to watch the movie therefore, Chippy will say, “bye bye!”
