You guys may not be the first one on my contact list when I am troubled but I am sure you guys are a bunch of people I won’t want to miss in my life. It is damn tough for me to survive in design because I don’t have Art background and I am not born with the talent in design. But I don’t regret entering RHD. If given another chance, I will still enter TDS, still enter RHD because I want to meet you guys, you guys make school much more enjoyable. When the never ending assignments keep piling up, you guys make school much more bearable. I am very proud and honoured to have you guys as my friends and course mates, you guys are the one that I won’t hesitate to introduce to my friends ‘Hey look! They are MY RidiculouslyHyperDesigners!’ Thanks for everything. =)

Reading the class blog will become a ‘must thing’ to do from now onwards!

This is especially so when there is an important notice about school-related matters.

I went for the Class Representative meeting at 6:15 pm. This is what happened.

I had been appointed as the class ‘care-leader or something’. Therefore, if you guys have any problems that you need to surface, you can always come to me! If I can’t handle your problem alone, I will then work with either our Level Representative or the other class’s Class Representative OR with Tommy who’s most probably our care-person whether we liked it or not.

It seems that we will not be separated in the future BUT that is for care-group wise. We will still be separated academic wise though.

Just so you know, Justin (of the next class) is our Level Representative (AKA RHD Freshmen Representative) and Aris is the ‘care-leader or whatever it is called’ for the other class.

In order to disseminate important messages ASAP, I will create a relay system via phone call to ensure that the message has been handed down to everyone. The important message will also be posted on our blog so that you guys can read it again if you’ve missed out any important details.

Here's a picture of what Beachy did for me, it's the proposed relay system but I will improvise it a little therefore. This is not the real relay system!

Hey there, Chippy’s speaking! Here’s what you might’ve missed on Tuesday, 22 July 2008!

Well, there’s a mini class gathering & the purpose for it was to watch Batman: The Dark Knight @ GV Plaza Singapura. My conclusion after watching the show ends with one word. Awesome!

A total of 13 RidiculouslyHyperDesigners went! They are (in no order of importance): Chippy; koNica; Mr Timbrlayke; Jazzy; Snowman; Ms Comb; Countr Stryke; Paper Fish; Ah Soon; Ah Cheng ; Hong Kong; Jackie Chan; Just Laugh.

Oh! We went to have lunch before that… Gelare’s waffles are so heavenly! Freaking tasty! I could’ve eaten a truck load full of it, haha!

A word of caution though, if your purpose of watching the movie is for the sake of reminiscing your childhood hero, then forget about that thought and wait patiently for the DVD to arrive in stores (stop piracy / illegal downloading!).

Kudos to the late Heath Ledger! Just so you know, he acted in the Oscar winning movie Brokeback Mountain alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and died recently due to drug overdose. His acting as Batman’s arch nemesis the Joker was superb! Gosh! I think he strikes a certain fear in the audience’s heart, not for the fact that his face is ugly but the way he portrays himself to be everyone’s worse possible nightmare.

We went to The Cathay after the movie for the sole purpose of taking a look at Instant Karma… Then went inside NUM… Exited NUM to find a Caucasian (most probably a tourist) asking a very interesting question (ask koNica what’s it about)… passed by ButtCheeks to take a look at something but the certain something wasn’t in the shop (ask anyone above except Ms Comb about what we’re looking for).

I’m tired already… I shall not burst the bubble for those who want to watch the movie therefore, Chippy will say, “bye bye!”

Okay, i've booked the chalet alrd!!!

Date: 24th - 26th sept 2008
Venue: Aloha Loyang Chalet, ( GARDEN BUNGALOW )

( These single-storey bungalows, surrounded by open field, are fully furnished with

-a living room set with TV and games table;
-dining room; air-conditioned bedrooms furnished with beds , wardrobes, dressers, bedside tables and wall fans;
-toilets/bathrooms with shower heater;
-BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.
-4 bedrooms, 2 queen size beds, 4 single beds, 4 bedrooms with attached toilet cum bathroom, 1 common toilet cum bathroom)

its a 3 Day 2 Night chalet, and we've plans like pot luck and stuffs like that.
for the price wise, the stupid aloha increased the booking fee with effect from 1st july.
which means the sept month. so we've to pay $10 more.
and the total price for the chalet is $160, so if 20 out of 24 pple is going to the chalet.
it'd just be $8 Per head

so pple, please confirm with me whether or not you're able to make it,
if too many pple cant make it during that period, i can change the date of the chalet,
provided theres still vacancies. so please confirm with me ASAP.

Hello everyone! Rasyid Razak here… are you guys surviving well?

Today in my opinion is a very special day for all of us! After all, it’s Youth Day! A celebration of time of life when we are young! Haha! I’m not sure whether anyone remembers it though…

Don’t you think / feel that life is short? I used to believe that whoever came up with that sentence was a pessimistic old person. I thought that growing up is a really long process and felt that life is a freaking long journey!

Oh well, I guess I’m wrong…

I only realized how short our journey in life is when I reached my beloved tertiary school. I mean, time passes so fast! Before you knew it, you’re already 18 / 17!

There’s really no room for regrets as time cannot stop nor go backwards. Forward is the only way to go. Whether or not you’ve made the right or wrong decision, you have no other choice but to move forward into the uncertain darkness of the future.

Sigh~ really; the beauty of life is in the cruelty itself! I do hope that you take a minute or so to ponder and reflect on your youth. Think about the enjoyable moments that you had and the painful past that you tried to forget. Life…

Hey there 'lil ones! It's me, your (nonsensical) subconscious! It's been a while since I posted anything 'cause i've been too busy counting the hairs on my leg... Anyway, tis' the season to be stressful! lalalalala, lala, la, la... Enough of me digressing! I have an important news to tell you! (& it's not about how much I love myself!) I have come up with creative solutions as to of how you can relax yourself without burning a hole in your tight 'lil pocket! (this does not apply to Mr Timbrlake though)

1) Sit at the corner of the library, poke yourself until you LOL.

2) Roll on the floor while singing the alphabet.

3) Give someone a hug then scream @ the top of your lungs.

4) Dance on the table while the lecturer is teaching.

5) Stand in front of a fan, have a competition as to of who can produce more wind!

DSC Chalet! Well, not really...

Hey~ what’s up? Been cheerful lately? Haha! I have (So? Tell me for what?!)...

Anyway, I was at the Design Orientation Camp (DOC) Chalet just now & guess who I saw? It’s Wan Wan! (Like so the OMG la!) Haha, What a coincidence!

It’s kind of sad that I did not see you guys though… *tears of sadness rolling down from cheeks* (Haha, see? I miss you guys so much already!) Why aren’t you guys there? I was expecting to see my super duper enthusiastic class (AKA the ridiculously hyper designers) there la! Oh well, what’s done is done… Haha, another time perhaps!

Anyway, I talked to Wan Wan just now & she said that she saw my Jie Jie’s ( It’s Shi Jie by the way, not my older sister) shoes (Haha, what a coincidence?! & super random la!) I can’t tell you much about the DOC chalet cause my friends & I came quite late. Haha, so you must get Wan Wan to publish something about the whole chalet thing… (Yeah!)

Oh by the way, do you guys know about the election for the new committee of Design Studies Club (DSC)? They are the group of people who planned for our awesome DOC (Woohoo!) if you don’t know… The elections take place during the holidays. (What?! The holidays?!) If I am not mistaken, it’s from the 27th till the 29th of May… Each person will have 15 votes (I think)…

Hi! It’s me! (Aargh! Not the crazy guy again!)

Today marks the second day of our blog since it made its debut! Though the “GRAND OPENING” (OMG, that sound so wrong la!) was celebrated by a few (freaky) people here and there, I’m sure that everyone was in awe with the sight of this magnificent blog! *opens mouth & drools*

The transformation it went through from the moment koNICA MSNed me in the middle of the night till now was spectacular! (You should’ve seen the birth of the blog, it look so hideous!)

The blog was flooded with random entries (like the one I am writing now) posted by a few (freaky) people. I look forward to more authors filling this blog with their meaningful thoughts!

Oh, & if possible, could we please get the Functions people AKA Sausage Mcmuffin & Jie Jie to write about all the details by Thursday night maybe? *claps in the air*

Umm.. by the way, why did you guys put up my gay picture?! (Damn~ it was suppose to be a private photos for me & my scandals [Sausage Mcmuffin & Jie Jie] to see la!]

Hello to all my classmates , :D
how have all of you been ? the holidays have just started and I am starting to miss all of you !
Block one has ended , and this have been a fruitful month for me.

1 month ago , we probably didnt know each other.
But after a month see how much closer we have gotten to each other.
Isnt it amazing ?

The Orchard Road survey ; burger king lunch :D
the birthdays celebration for our classmates.
The 7 heaven dating after school to do our assignments.
The usually 1 hr long deciding which sch to eat cause of the overwhelming no. of ppl.
and lastly our 1st ccn - car wash.

I want to add on what Rasyid said in his post , A BIG THANK YOU to every single one of you !
without your support and encouragement , it wldnt be a success right ?
thank you people for cooperating and that day was so memorable that I wldnt exchange anything with it. :D

I thanked GOD for giving me this bunch of wonderful excellent classmates where I can rely on !

Now , lets just enjoy our holidays before continuing on our blocks !
where all our crazy-ness will begin in the mist of those assignment .

I hope to see everyone on friday !
